Search for your domain

Enter any name — with or without a TLD. Our system checks real-time availability via RDAP for all popular extensions. Results are returned within seconds.

Choose your plan

Select monthly or annual billing. Annual plans save up to 20%. Pricing is flat — what you see is what you pay, with no setup fees or transfer fees.

We only ask for your email address — no name, postal address, or ID required. Your order details are sent to that email after payment.

Crypto payments are confirmed on-chain before activation. Cards and mobile wallets are instant.

We register and hold the domain

If the domain is available, HOKONAME purchases and registers it immediately in our name. We are the legal owner and registrant of the domain.

Your plan grants you the exclusive right to use the domain and operate it as your own — for as long as your plan is active.

Note on ownership: HOKONAME retains domain ownership and reserves the right to decline or suspend access for accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy. We very rarely exercise this right outside of clear policy violations.

Point the domain to your nameservers

After payment confirmation, your dashboard will show the Set Nameservers option for your domain. Provide at least two nameserver hostnames and we will update the domain's NS records at the registrar level.

You manage all DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.) yourself through your chosen DNS provider. Popular choices include:

  • Cloudflare — Free, fast, and includes DDoS protection
  • AWS Route 53 — Reliable and deeply integrated with AWS
  • Self-hosted — BIND, PowerDNS, or any authoritative server
  • Any DNS host — As long as you control the nameservers

NS propagation typically takes 15–60 minutes globally after we submit the update.

Renew, cancel, or upgrade

Monthly plans renew automatically. You'll receive a reminder before each renewal. Cancel any time with no fees.

Annual plans can be renewed before expiry. If you don't renew, the domain is held for 30 days before being released.
