You sign up using an email address only — no name, address, phone number, or ID is required. Your email is used to send your order confirmation and renewal reminders.
HOKONAME is the legal registrant and owner of all domains in our portfolio. When you get a domain through HOKONAME, you receive exclusive usage rights for as long as your plan is active. We cannot transfer legal ownership, but you can use the domain freely for any legal purpose — hosting, email, apps, anything.
We only suspend access in cases of clear Acceptable Use Policy violations (e.g. phishing, malware distribution, illegal content). We will never reclaim a domain for commercial reasons during an active, paid plan term.
If a domain is already registered by a third party, we cannot acquire it and it will show as "Taken" in search results. We only offer domains that are freely available for registration.
Card payments are confirmed instantly. USDT TRC-20 payments are automatically verified on-chain and typically confirmed within a few minutes. Once confirmed, we register the domain and update the nameservers to your specified DNS provider — usually within 30 minutes. Global NS propagation then takes 15–60 minutes.
We do not manage individual DNS records. Instead, you provide your own nameserver hostnames (e.g. from Cloudflare, AWS Route 53, or a self-hosted server) and we update the domain's NS records at the registrar to point to them. You then manage all records — A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc. — directly through your DNS provider.
You must have at least two nameservers ready before requesting the update. NS propagation typically takes 15–60 minutes.
We accept: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and USDT TRC-20. No personal information is required for any payment method.
At checkout, you'll be given a TRON wallet address and the exact USDT amount to send. After 20 confirmations on the TRON blockchain (typically 10–30 minutes), your domain is activated automatically. Rates are locked at the time of order for 60 minutes to protect against price fluctuations.
All payments are final and non-refundable. Due to the nature of domain registration (domains are registered immediately upon payment and cannot be "returned"), we do not offer refunds under any circumstances.
You may cancel future renewals at any time through your dashboard, but no refund will be issued for payments already made.

Some TLDs such as .hk and .com.hk normally require local presence or government ID. Because HOKONAME is the registrant, our users get access with email only — no local presence required.
